Questions and Answers
Q: How can I participate in the fundraiser during the concert?
A: As a reminder, please check in with the primary point of contact for your group for a personalized link to register and place a credit card on file.
Your card will not be stored by The Mountain Winery/AXS. Guest payment security is top priority; Greater Giving is a Level 1 vendor—the highest, most secure level of PCI compliance—so you know your data is safe.
Q: How do I get my ticket(s)?
A: The primary point of contact for your group will be mailed a packet containing tickets, program booklets/bidder numbers, drink tickets, parking placards, and name badges. Please bring all of these items with you to the concert!
Q: What is the weather like?
A: While the weather at The Mountain Winery is similar to the weather in San Jose or Saratoga, the mountain top location means that the weather can be unpredictable. Up there, the wind usually picks up after nightfall, and during the day there is more exposure to the sun.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Please consider our mountain top location when preparing for an evening concert. Dressing in layers is recommended to ensure a comfortable experience. High heels can be challenging as there are hills and stairs on the way to your seat.
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Check in begins at 5PM followed by our Sponsor & Friends of Hope Cocktail Reception.
Q: Can I bring my own food and beverage?
A: Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the venue. The primary point of contact for your group will be mailed 2 drink tickets for each guest. There will also be passed hors d'oeuvres and an antipasti station until 6:45PM. We will also be providing sponsors and their guests with goodie bags that include a wine carafe and a few snacks to enjoy.
Q: What time does the concert start?
A: We will be starting the concert at 7:00PM.
Q: What about parking?
A: The primary point of contact for your group will be mailed parking placards to distribute to their party. We strongly suggest carpooling. Limited parking is available for persons with disabilities or those who require additional assistance. ADA shuttle service is available between the ADA Parking Lot and the Main Plaza. If you need special assistance, please let a Mountain Winery representative know upon entering the gates.
Q: Can I use rideshare?
A: If you arrive via rideshare program and are expecting a pickup after the show, please be aware that traffic coming up the hill is stopped at the bottom entrance gate 30 minutes prior to the show ending. All rideshare vehicles are held at the main gate until parking lot traffic is cleared (approximately a 45-minute wait). Please join us at Redwood Deck Rideshare Lounge located in the main plaza while you wait where attentive staff will take care of you until rideshare vehicles proceed uphill.
Q: What if I need assistance listening to the concert?
A: Assisted listening devices are available for no charge from the Mountain Winery Box Office. Photo ID is required as a deposit.
